Our Plain Weave Matelassé Upholstery Fabric offers the perfect combination of strength, softness, and sophisticated texture. Made from 100% high-quality polyester, this heavyweight fabric is woven using a plain weave matelassé technique—creating a subtly raised surface pattern that adds dimension and depth to any upholstered piece.

With a robust 400 GSM weight and 50,000+ double rubs (ASTM D4966-12), this material is highly abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for sofas, armchairs, benches, and other high-traffic furniture. Its durable construction, soft hand-feel, and easy-care properties make it a practical and elegant choice for both residential and commercial interiors.

Cleaning Instructions

Abrasion Rating

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 40,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion. All our cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

►Note! Orders for up to the 35 Yards we currently have in stock are processed within 2 business days.
►If your order is is temporarily out of stock, it will be delayed 7-10 business days while we resupply from the mill.
►Sample Orders are processed within 2-3 business days, then mailed via USPS First Class Mail.
►MADE-TO-ORDER please allow 8-10 weeks to complete them, Handmade beauties take time. For rush orders, please contact us, we will accomodate the best we can.

What's our Shipping Method?

For items weighs less than 12oz, we ship via USPS first class mail.

For domestic parcles, we ship via USPS priority 5-7 business day arrival.

For international orders, we ship via DHL or USPS Priority International.


International Shipping: Items may be subject to customs processing depending on the item's declared value. 
As the buyer, you should be aware of possible:

  • Delays from customs inspection.
  • Import duties and taxes, which buyers must pay.
  • Brokerage fees payable at the point of delivery.

All items are stored and dispatched from our AU warehouses, Monday through Friday. Orders placed by 3 PM EST will be processed the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day. Expect your order to arrive within 11 to 15 business days. Please keep in mind that weekends and public holidays are excluded from our shipping schedule.

Orders over $99 come with free shipping within the contiguous US. For other cases, the shipping fee is determined by the carrier's rate. Deliveries within and outside the contiguous US are made through UPS.
