Choosing a furniture cover for a home with pets doesn’t mean you have to give up on style. We offer a range of durable, tightly woven, and easy-to-clean fabrics that can better handle paws, fur, and everyday activity.
To make this easier, each fabric is given a Pet Friendly Score, which you can find under “Fabric Information” on the product page. The score uses a simple 1–5 scale:
If you’re unsure which fabric is right for your pet, we recommend starting with free fabric samples so you can test them at home.
We offer a carefully selected range of fabrics in a variety of colors and quality levels. Because colors and textures can look different in real life and under different lighting, we always recommend ordering fabric samples if you want to match an existing fabric or color in your home.
You can view our full fabric selection on the swatch page, and samples allow you to see and feel the fabric in your own space before placing an order.
The DelightMyTaste Recyclability Score is a simple guide designed to help you understand the environmental impact of our fabrics and make more informed choices.
We focus on extending the life of furniture to reduce waste, and we believe it’s important to know what your furniture covers are made from and what happens to the fabric at the end of its life. Each fabric is rated on a clear 1–5 scale based on how it is made and how recyclable it is.
You can find the Recyclability Score under “Fabric Information” on each product page.
The scores mean the following:
This score helps you compare fabrics easily and choose options that align with your sustainability preferences.
The Martindale rating measures how durable a fabric is and how well it resists wear and tear. It is based on a standardized test in which the fabric is rubbed against an abrasive surface in a figure-eight motion until visible wear appears. The result is shown as the number of “rubs” or Martindale cycles.
Here is a general guide to what the ratings mean:
In general, a higher Martindale rating means the fabric is more durable.
All fabrics can fade when exposed to sunlight. In general, natural fibers tend to fade faster, while synthetic fabrics are more resistant to fading.
The color fastness to light rating measures how well a fabric resists color change when exposed to light. It is rated on a scale from 1 to 8, where 1 means the fabric is very likely to fade and 8 means it is highly resistant to fading. For interior textiles, a rating of 5–6 is usually recommended, while outdoor textiles typically require a rating of 6–8.
Here is a general guide:
You can find the color fastness to light rating for each fabric under “Fabric Information” on the product page.
All of our covers are custom made and individually cut from fabric rolls. Because of this process, the placement of the pattern on your cover may vary from the example images shown on our website. This is normal for custom-made products and does not affect the quality or performance of the cover.
